HISTORY Established in 1965, the Instrumentation and Control Department of the College of Engineering, Pune, is continuously serving the society. Taking 30 students for Under-Graduate course, it has added Post-Graduate courses with an intake of 36, offering specialization in two branches (Process Instrumentation and Biomedical Instrumentation) .From the year 2003,the College has attained autonomy and this year the first batch of autonomous COEP (Instrumentation & Control) will graduate which has done very well in campus placements.

Our Students excel not only in academics, but also in extra-curricular & co-curricular activities. The body ICESA (Instrumentation and Control Engineering Students Association) annually organizes the Instru-Fiesta-A Techno-Cultural Extravaganza where students from all over the country actively participate. ‘Instruvision’-the Department magazine is also a very popular activity of the ICESA . The Department is very active in arranging lectures & seminars from Eminent External Faculties from various fields.
