The Instru-Fiesta is a techno-cultural state-level event organized by the ICESA every year in the month of September. It is a fest of Instruites, for the Instruites, by the Instruites. This year the event was titled as “INSTRU FIESTA ‘06 A techno-cultural extravaganza.”. As the name suggests the event got an overwhelming response especially from Instruites from various colleges all over the state. This year the Fiesta was spread over a period of three days from 15th to 17th September.

The main attractions of the Fiesta were Robotic Competition, Paper Presentation, Personality Competition, Cultural SHOW and many more. The first day featured events like Paper Presentation, with the main attraction of the day being the Cultural show. This is one of the very few opportunities for the Instruites to show up their Dramatic Talent. This year the best drama award was won by the drama named “ Lage Raho Aslam Bhai”. And the best dance prize was given to SSPMS group. The second day attractions were Robotic Competition, and many popular fun games like General Knowledge, C Quiz etc. The cultural show “Crescendo” was sponsored by Solaris Club. There were two new events introduced for the first time called PowerGen and Conspicuous control. The newness of these two events did catch the eyes of many students. Due to these creative and brain-teasing games the inrush of participants and spectators on this day was the most. The third and last day had FINALS of all the popular fun games held on the second day. The response of Instruites was very good for the Personality Contest. These contestants were judged by faculty members from Career Forum, Pune. Snehal was the Miss Fiesta for this year. Last but not the least was the Prize distribution ceremony. The prizes for the events were given by the Director, Prof. Anil Sahasrabudhe. He concluded the event with a concluding note and a promise to give more games, events opportunity and a lot of fun in the forthcoming FIESTA.
